Key Responsibilities
Handle all aspects of medical malpractice defense cases, including investigation, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
Represent healthcare providers, hospitals, and other entities in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
Provide strategic legal guidance to clients on risk management and regulatory compliance.
Draft legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, and discovery responses.
Conduct and defend depositions, including expert witness depositions.
Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and staff to ensure high-quality legal representation.

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in Oregon (Washington license is a plus).
3+ years of litigation experience, specifically in medical malpractice or healthcare defense.
Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
Proven ability to manage cases independently and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
