Job Details

Our well-established legal firm is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Medical Malpractice Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be skilled in all aspects of medical malpractice law, including deposition, mediation, arbitration, and insurance matters. This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in all stages of medical malpractice lawsuits.
  • Conduct thorough and detailed investigations to determine the validity of medical malpractice claims.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct depositions of medical professionals, witnesses, and other parties involved in the case.
  • Advocate for clients during mediation and arbitration proceedings.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients with insurance companies.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding their rights, potential outcomes, and legal options.
  • Stay updated on developments in medical malpractice law and contribute to the firm's knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to develop case strategies and ensure optimal client satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical malpractice law.
  • Admission to the state bar.
  • Proven experience with deposition, mediation, arbitration, and insurance matters.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in legal research and writing.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service.
  • Proficiency in using legal software and technology tools.
