Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment plans for patients with cancer.
2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
3. Conduct research to develop and implement new medical procedures and treatment plans.
4. Provide education and counselling to patients and their families about treatment options, side effects, and prognosis.
5. Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
6. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay updated with the latest advancements in medical oncology.
7. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient.
8. Adhere to all medical and ethical guidelines in the management of patient care.
Qualifications:
1. Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
2. Board-certified in Medical Oncology.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in medical oncology.
4. Demonstrated proficiency in medical procedures related to oncology.
5. Strong understanding of cancer treatment methods and the ability to explain complex medical information to patients and their families.
6. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
8. Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and adherence to ethical standards.
9. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
10. Ability to conduct and interpret research studies.
11. Proficient in using medical software and technology.
