Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Education and Training
- 1-4 (or more) years of relevant MEP design experience with primary focus on mechanical and plumbing.
- Experience using AutoCAD and REVIT.
- Experience in completing design and construction documents in an architectural or engineering firm.
- Ability to create and modify CAD dynamic blocks and Revit families.
- The ability to produce quality construction documents.
- Experience with MS Office.
- Effective verbal and graphic communication skills.
- Effective organizational and collaborative skills.
- Effective time management skills.
Preferred Education and Training
- Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-Accredited Engineering program, preferably Mechanical or Electrical.
- EIT Certification or PE License is preferred.
- Major coursework in or related to drafting and/or architecture.
- Relevant architecture and/or engineering experience.
- Provide MEP engineering designs for multidiscipline projects.
- Provide CAD and BIM support for the firm’s design projects.
- Assist teams with project startup, workflow and coordination.
- BIM modelling and CAD drafting support during the planning, design, and construction phases of various projects.
- QA/QC issues and perform the necessary research and exploration to develop solutions that respond to the specific automation needs and demands of a project.
- AutoCAD and Revit file management.
- Create/modify/update Revit families and CAD blocks as needed.
