We are seeking a dynamic and experienced MEP Estimator to join our team. This role will primarily focus on providing accurate and competitive cost estimates for our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the construction industry, specifically in the MEP sector.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced MEP Estimator to join our team. This role will primarily focus on providing accurate and competitive cost estimates for our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the construction industry, specifically in the MEP sector.
Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate cost estimates
- Prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
- Identify labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
- Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements
- Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
- Present prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information
- Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- Maintain cost data base by entering and backing up data
- Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP estimating
- Proficient in estimating software and spreadsheet software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong understanding of construction processes
- Proficient in reading architectural plans and engineering drawings
- Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines
- Proven experience in managing and coordinating project teams and contractors
- Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and construction techniques
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies
- In-depth understanding of construction laws and guidelines.
