MEP Project Manager – Mission Critical / Data Centers
Join our Mission Critical team and be a key player in delivering cutting-edge data centers and high-performance facilities for the world’s most innovative clients. As an MEP Project Manager, you will lead the full lifecycle of complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in data center construction or other mission critical environments, where precision, coordination, and performance are everything.

What You’ll Do:
  • Take ownership of all MEP systems from design review through commissioning and turnover, including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, BMS, Low Voltage, Security, and Controls.
  • Lead 3D coordination meetings and manage the approval process for coordinated MEP drawings.
  • Oversee onsite installation, ensuring schedule alignment, quality execution, and trade coordination.
  • Analyze and interpret contract documents for constructability, compliance, and functionality.
  • Drive the submittal process, tracking procurement, lead times, and delivery schedules.
  • Collaborate with project superintendents and schedulers to develop and maintain MEP construction timelines.
  • Manage and review MEP change orders, requisitions, and contract adjustments.
  • Lead testing, start-up, and commissioning of mission-critical systems.
  • Ensure MEP closeout documentation is accurate, timely, and complete.
  • Foster a culture of safety, inclusion, technical excellence, and team development.

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Fire Protection Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; equivalent experience also considered.
  • 5+ years of MEP project management experience, preferably with a general contractor.
  • Direct experience delivering data centers, mission critical infrastructure, or large-scale industrial projects.
  • Proven ability to manage trade contractors, lead coordination efforts, and resolve field challenges.
  • Knowledge of NECA/MCA labor rates, material procurement, and systems-level planning.
  • Familiarity with commissioning protocols and QA/QC processes for critical systems.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with a collaborative, solutions-driven mindset.

Preferred Experience:
  • OSHA 10 Certification
  • Experience with Primavera P6
  • Procore or equivalent construction management software
  • BIM/3D coordination familiarity (Revit/Navisworks)
