We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Metalwork Fabricator/Engineer to join our team. This role will require you to apply your skills and experience in metal fabrication, CNC operation, welding, and AutoCAD to create high-quality products for our clients. You will be a part of a team that values precision, creativity, and a commitment to excellence. Responsibilities:
1. Design, fabricate, and assemble metal products, including doors, windows, and cladding, using various types of metals such as steel and aluminum.
2. Operate CNC machines to cut, drill, or shape metal components for assembly.
3. Utilize AutoCAD and microvellum software to create detailed blueprints and plans for each project.
4. Perform welding tasks using different techniques, ensuring the strength and durability of each product.
5. Monitor the quality of finished products to ensure they meet company standards and client specifications.
6. Provide technical guidance and support to the production team, resolving any issues that arise during the fabrication process.
7. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
8. Continuously update knowledge of new technology and equipment in order to improve efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in metalwork fabrication/engineering in a manufacturing setting.
2. Proficiency in operating CNC machines and using metalworking tools.
3. Extensive knowledge of various metals, including steel and aluminum, and their properties.
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD and microvellum software for designing and planning fabrication projects.
5. Excellent welding skills, with a sound understanding of different welding techniques and safety procedures.
6. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to produce high-quality products that meet client specifications.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and find effective solutions.
8. Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
9. A commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
10. A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
