We are seeking a Real Estate Associate with 3-8 years of sophisticated commercial real estate experience.
Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial lease agreements on behalf of both landlords and tenants
Handle office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use leasing matters
Assist with acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, development projects, and financing transactions
Conduct due diligence, title and survey review, and transaction management
Work directly with clients, opposing counsel, lenders, and other transaction parties
Manage deal timelines and oversee transactions from inception through closing
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on a variety of commercial real estate matters
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing with the applicable state bar
3-8 years of commercial real estate experience in a law firm environment
Significant experience handling commercial leasing matters, including both landlord and tenant representation
Experience representing institutional owners, developers, investors, REITs, property managers, and commercial users
Sophisticated office leasing experience strongly preferred
Ability to independently manage transactions with minimal supervision
Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and client service orientation
The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, collaborative, and eager to take ownership of sophisticated transactions while continuing to develop within a highly respected real estate practice.
