We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Millwork Engineer to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of millwork projects, including cabinetry, furniture, and custom millwork. This position offers the opportunity to work with a team of skilled professionals in a fast-paced, innovative environment where creativity and technical expertise are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop millwork projects using Microvellum, Cabinet Vision, Inventor, and AutoCAD software.
2. Operate CNC machinery to produce high-quality, custom millwork products.
3. Collaborate with the design team to create innovative and efficient solutions for complex millwork projects.
4. Review and interpret architectural plans and specifications to ensure accurate production of millwork products.
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and advancements, including those set forth by the Architectural Woodworking Institute (AWI).
6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the design, production, and installation of millwork products.
7. Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
8. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in millwork engineering, including experience with cabinetry, furniture, and custom millwork.
3. Proficiency in Microvellum, Cabinet Vision, Inventor, CNC, Mozaik, AutoCAD, and Autodesk.
4. Familiarity with AWI standards and guidelines.
5. Strong technical design skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
9. Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
