We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Millwork Estimator to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is integral to our company's success, as it involves preparing accurate estimates for projects by gathering information and analyzing important metrics. You will provide knowledge of cost and benefits that support profitable business decisions. If you have a strong background in Millwork, Woodwork, Casework, and Cost Estimating, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, then we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
2. Identify labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
3. Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
4. Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
5. Present prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
6. Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
7. Maintain cost data base by entering and backing up data.
8. Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.
9. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
10. Analyze contractor bids, manage bids and engage in price negotiation.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Estimation, Millwork, Woodwork, Casework, and Cost Estimating.
2. Proficient with Innergy, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Takeoff, Bid, and other related software.
3. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods.
4. Ability to read and understand technical specifications and blueprints.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
7. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make well-judged decisions.
10. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
