We are currently seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Permanent Millwright to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is integral to our operations as it involves the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of industrial machinery, mechanical equipment, and systems. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with a strong mechanical aptitude and a keen eye for detail. You will be a part of a fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects, showcasing your skills in blueprint reading, welding, equipment maintenance, and more.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Millwright, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
2. Installing, aligning, dismantling, and moving stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans.
3. Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions.
4. Adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing defective parts.
5. Operating machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up of machinery.
6. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas.
7. Welding parts using a variety of welding equipment to repair or fabricate equipment.
8. Troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems and circuits.
9. Implementing preventive maintenance programs and keeping maintenance records.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this role, you must possess the following:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Millwright in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
2. A valid Millwright license or equivalent.
3. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings.
4. Proven experience with welding, fabrication, and the use of hand tools.
5. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform equipment maintenance.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
7. Good physical condition and endurance, with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
8. A commitment to safety and quality, with the ability to follow all safety rules and regulations.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
