As a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) / Medical Technologist (MT), you will be a vital part of a dynamic team, delivering high-quality healthcare services. Responsibilities:

As an MLT / MT, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Performing a variety of complex laboratory procedures for diagnostic purposes, including both routine and specialized tests.
2. Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and timely test results.
3. Adhering to laboratory protocols and quality standards to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
4. Assisting in the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures and protocols.
5. Participating in continuous education and training programs to stay updated with the latest advancements in laboratory science.
6. Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret test results and develop appropriate treatment plans.
7. Ensuring compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations in the laboratory.
8. Participating in quality control, quality assurance, and proficiency testing activities to maintain the highest standards of laboratory practices.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
2. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT), Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist (MT) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent is required.
3. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting is required.
