Are you ready to take your mortgage accounting skills to the next level? Our company is seeking a Permanent Mortgage Accounting Analyst to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the correct allocation of funds and balancing of borrower payments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Loan Servicing and Investor Accounting, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Mortgage Accounting Analyst, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Analyzing and preparing data files for investors, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
2. Handling cash received, ensuring it is properly recorded and allocated.
3. Balancing borrower payments, ensuring correct allocation of funds.
4. Handling borrower post-closing phone calls, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any issues or concerns.
5. Participating in Loan Servicing and Investor Accounting activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
6. Collaborating with other team members to identify and implement process improvements.
7. Continuously staying updated on industry trends and changes in regulations, ensuring our company remains compliant and competitive.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Mortgage Accounting Analyst position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in the mortgage industry, specifically in a role that involves Loan Servicing and Investor Accounting.
2. Proven experience in analyzing and preparing data files.
3. Demonstrated ability to handle cash received and balance borrower payments.
4. Strong customer orientation, with a proven ability to handle borrower post-closing phone calls and provide exceptional customer service.
5. Comfortable talking on the phone, with excellent communication skills.
6. Strong analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
7. Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
9. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
