We are currently seeking a highly-skilled and detail-oriented Permanent Mortgage Closing Specialist to join our fast-paced team. This role is crucial to our organization as you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless closing of all mortgage loans. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the mortgage industry and will be familiar with all related documents including deeds, security instruments, and more. This role requires a meticulous eye for detail, exceptional organization skills, and a commitment to quality control and auditing processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all aspects of the mortgage closing process, ensuring all necessary documents are in place and correctly executed.
  • Review and verify all mortgage, deed, and security instrument documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Liaise with the title department, attorneys, and other stakeholders to secure all necessary approvals.
  • Conduct thorough quality control checks and audits to ensure all documents and processes comply with company and legal standards.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the closing process promptly and professionally.
  • Manage buyer tenancy documents and ensure they are correctly integrated into the closing process.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of all current and upcoming mortgage industry regulations, practices, and trends.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient closing process.

Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the mortgage industry, title experience preferred.
  • Proven experience with mortgage, deed, and security instrument documents.
  • Strong understanding of quality control and audit processes.
  • Experience working with a title department and securing attorney approvals.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a highly organized approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in industry-related software and technology.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Familiarity with buyer tenancy documents is a plus.
