We are seeking a Moveworks Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade conversational AI solutions using the Moveworks platform. This role blends technical expertise, solution design, stakeholder engagement, and platform governance. You’ll work closely with business units, IT stakeholders, and delivery teams to translate business needs into scalable Moveworks-based solutions that automate support and enhance productivity across departments such as IT, HR, and Finance.
As the subject matter expert for Moveworks, you will be responsible for aligning its capabilities with enterprise requirements while ensuring performance, maintainability, and extensibility.
This position offers flexibility for hybrid work schedules, with opportunities to be based in Houston or Dallas, TX.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design: Architect end-to-end solutions using the Moveworks platform to address enterprise use cases across multiple domains.
Implementation Oversight: Collaborate with developers and analysts to ensure successful configuration, training, and deployment of conversational workflows, intents, skills, and integrations.
Integration Leadership: Design and oversee integrations between Moveworks and enterprise systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Workday, Jira, Okta, Microsoft Teams).
Platform Governance: Define and enforce standards, naming conventions, testing protocols, and deployment best practices for Moveworks implementations.
User Experience: Ensure conversational flows are intuitive, effective, and aligned with UX best practices.
Performance Optimization: Monitor platform health and user engagement metrics; identify areas for improvement and optimize for accuracy and responsiveness.
Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, propose solutions, and demonstrate prototypes.
Evangelism & Enablement: Guide internal teams on ideation, design, and support of Moveworks capabilities; contribute to roadmaps and promote awareness of new platform features.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field, plus 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, automation, or AI platforms (or equivalent education/experience).
Hands-on experience working with the Moveworks platform in both technical and strategic capacities.
Proven experience integrating enterprise applications with conversational AI or digital assistants.
Strong understanding of enterprise ITSM, HRIS, identity management, and related systems.
Deep knowledge of modern data architectures (data lakes, data warehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Familiarity with data governance frameworks, quality tools, and metadata management systems.
Understanding of AI/ML data requirements, including preparation, feature engineering, and model deployment.
Skills
Strategic thinker with enterprise solution design expertise.
Strong stakeholder engagement and executive-facing presentation skills.
Ability to simplify complex technical topics for non-technical audiences.
Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
Experience coordinating projects across cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of conversational UX/UI and prompt-based interaction models.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of Moveworks platform experience.
Moveworks Academy Certifications (e.g., Studio, Skills, Advanced), ITIL Foundation Certification, Agile/Scrum certification, and certifications in ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams, or Workday integrations are highly preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
