Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders.
2. Evaluate the quality of MRI scans, ensuring clear images for accurate diagnosis.
3. Assist radiologists with image interpretation and analysis.
4. Adhere strictly to safety procedures and guidelines to maintain patient safety during MRI procedures.
5. Maintain accurate patient records, documenting all procedures and findings.
6. Provide clear instructions to patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
7. Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance, reporting any technical issues promptly.
8. Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of radiology and MRI technology.
9. Collaborate with the medical team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
10. Respect patient confidentiality and adhere to all professional and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

1. ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing
2. ARRT advanced MR certification
3. Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography Licensed Radiological
Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
4. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
5. Training and experience sufficient to competently perform MR and/or radiographic procedures independently
