MRI Technologist

As an MRI Tech you will be responsible for technical work involving the operation of magnetic resonance scanners to obtain images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. Work involves performing diagnostic procedures, positioning patients, maintaining and adjusting console and peripheral hardware. Does related work as required.

Compensation: $48-$59/hr DOE

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent MRI Technologist to join our team! As a Permanent MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining MRI equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during procedures. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions
• Administer contrast agents as necessary and monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain knowledge of current MRI technology and techniques

Qualifications:

• AART certification and current state licensure as an MRI Technologist
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
• Proficiency in MRI equipment operation and maintenance
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Ability to accurately follow protocols and physician orders
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality
