We’re seeking a Site Controller to lead financial operations across two key manufacturing facilities: located in Virginia and North Carolina. This is a high-impact role that combines strategic partnership with hands-on financial leadership. The ideal candidate will be based at one location and able to travel regularly to the other.

Job Details

What You’ll Do:
  • Serve as a strategic advisor and financial partner to plant leadership, delivering insights that drive operational performance and profitability.
  • Lead and develop accounting teams across both locations, instilling best practices in cost control, forecasting, budgeting, and internal controls.
  • Oversee all aspects of financial reporting and compliance, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to GAAP and SOX standards.
  • Analyze plant performance, evaluate key metrics, and present actionable recommendations to support data-driven decisions.
  • Maintain a strong internal control environment, safeguarding company assets and ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, commercial, and corporate teams to align financial strategies with broader business goals.
  • Champion process improvement and ERP system optimization to enhance financial visibility and reporting efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (CPA, MBA, or advanced degree preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience in a process manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems—preferably SAP (S4 Hana) or JD Edwards; and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong foundation in US GAAP, cost accounting, and SOX-compliant operations
  • Proven ability to lead multi-site teams, manage complex financial systems, and partner with senior leadership
  • Experience driving budgeting, forecasting, and commercial finance initiatives at the plant level
