This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated Neonatologist to join our dynamic team in the healthcare industry. As a Permanent Neonatologist, you will be at the forefront of neonatal care and research, working with a team of highly skilled professionals committed to providing the best possible care for newborns and their families.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent Neonatologist, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Providing comprehensive medical care for newborns, particularly those born prematurely or with complications. This includes diagnosing and treating newborns with conditions such as breathing disorders, infections, and birth defects.
2. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including obstetricians, pediatricians, and nurses to provide coordinated care for newborns.
3. Conducting clinical research to contribute to the advancement of neonatal medicine.
4. Educating patients' families and caregivers about their newborn's condition and the care they require.
5. Participating in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education activities to stay updated on the latest developments in neonatal care.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:
1. Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
2. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
4. Excellent clinical skills with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care.
5. Demonstrated experience in clinical research.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex medical information to patients' families and caregivers.
7. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
