Responsibilities:
As a NETA Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting regular tests and inspections on electrical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with NETA standards.
2. Diagnosing and troubleshooting complex electrical issues, providing recommendations for repairs or replacements as needed.
3. Assisting in the design and implementation of maintenance procedures to improve efficiency and safety.
4. Collaborating with engineers and other technicians on projects, offering expertise on NETA standards and best practices.
5. Preparing and presenting detailed reports on test results, including any identified issues and proposed solutions.
6. Staying up to date with the latest NETA standards and industry trends, applying this knowledge to your work.
7. Ensuring all work complies with company policies and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the NETA Technician position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a NETA Technician or in a similar role.
2. Certified as a NETA Technician
3. Extensive knowledge of NETA standards and electrical systems.
4. Proven experience with electrical testing, troubleshooting, and repair.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
7. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
8. Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
9. A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field would be advantageous.
