As a Network Administrator, you will be at the forefront of technology, helping to shape and implement network solutions for our clients in the Tech Services industry. You will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions and ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' network infrastructure. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about technology, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Network Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing, monitoring, and maintaining local area networks (LANs), firewalls, and switches to ensure optimal network performance.
2. Implementing and managing Datto backup and disaster recovery solutions.
3. Configuring and managing Microsoft server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
4. Administering SonicWall security appliances to protect network integrity and data security.
5. Designing and implementing subnet and VLAN strategies to optimize network efficiency and security.
6. Providing technical support and guidance to clients, resolving network issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
7. Collaborating with team members and clients to develop and implement network solutions that meet business needs and objectives.
8. Conducting regular network performance assessments and implementing improvements as needed.
9. Staying updated on the latest network technologies and industry trends, and making recommendations for network upgrades and enhancements.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Consulting Network Administrator role will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration, preferably in the Tech Services industry.
2. Proven experience in managing LANs, firewalls, and switches.
3. Extensive experience with Datto backup and disaster recovery solutions.
4. Strong knowledge of Microsoft server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
5. Experience in administering SonicWall security appliances.
6. Proficient in subnet and VLAN management.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients and stakeholders.
9. A relevant certification, such as CCNA, CCNP, or MCSE, is highly desirable.
10. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
