Job Details
Basic Overview:
- Demonstrated increasing responsibility for interaction with LAN/WAN network components and telecommunications systems including routers, switches, firewalls, SIP, network cards, cabling and attached computer systems, telecommunications equipment such as PBX, Voice Gateways, Smart jacks, and other devices, and familiarity with QOS, VLAN’s, Signaling, and VoIP protocols.
- Skills in industry best practices for design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecommunications and data network systems.
- Some experience with Linux and Windows operating systems administration as it relates to network engineering.
- Knowledge of IT problem solving methodologies and data network engineering techniques.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
