Job Details

We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Network Engineer to join our team. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, where you will have the opportunity to showcase your strong knowledge in Network Design, Architecture and Troubleshooting.

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our network infrastructure, ensuring the highest level of performance and security. This role will be a key player in planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization.

Responsibilities

1. Design and implement functional network infrastructure.
2. Maintain and improve existing network systems.
3. Troubleshoot network issues and outages.
4. Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices.
5. Monitor network performance and integrity.
6. Ensure the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability.
7. Provide technical support to team members and handle complex issues.
8. Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network resource administration, appropriate use, and disaster recovery.
9. Collaborate with network architects to design and implement company-wide network plans.

Qualifications

1. Proven work experience as a Network Engineer or a similar role in network management.
2. Solid background in network administration and architecture.
3. In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF).
4. Familiarity with access control models and network security.
5. Knowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g., Python, Perl).
6. Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., SolarWinds network tools).
7. Professional certification (e.g., CCNP, CCDP) is a plus.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
9. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
