Are you a dynamic, highly skilled network engineer looking for a challenging role in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Network Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and managing the local and wide area networks of our organization to ensure maximum uptime for users. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of our business requirements to design and implement the most efficient network infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN).
2. Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices.
3. Monitor network performance and integrity.
4. Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure.
5. Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness.
6. Create, oversee, and test security measures (e.g., access authentication and disaster recovery).
7. Communicate with users when needed.
8. Maintain complete technical documentation.
9. Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability.
Qualifications:
1. Proven work experience as a Network Engineer or relevant position.
2. Professional certification (e.g., CCNP, CCDP) is a plus.
3. Solid background in network administration and architecture.
4. In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., EIGRP, OSPF).
5. Familiarity with access control models and network security.
6. Knowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g., Python, Perl).
7. Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., SolarWinds network tools).
8. Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS).
9. Sharp troubleshooting skills.
10. Ability to work independently.
11. Organizational and mentoring skills.
12. BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
13. Minimum 5 years of experience in a network engineer role or similar.
