We’re in need of a Network Security Administrator to join our team in Palm Springs. In this role, you’ll help us protect the integrity of our systems and data by strengthening our cybersecurity posture and responding proactively to potential threats.
As part of our IT and infrastructure group, you’ll work hands-on with critical security tools—firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and more—while also helping us develop and enforce security policies that keep our environment safe and compliant.

Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Support the development and enforcement of cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect the organization’s digital infrastructure.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to proactively identify potential threats and system weaknesses.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain key security tools including firewalls, antivirus software, intrusion detection systems (IDS), virtual private networks (VPNs), and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
- Monitor network traffic and systems for suspicious or unauthorized activity, and respond promptly to security incidents.
- Perform internal security audits and assessments; prepare and present findings and recommendations to management.
- Lead employee cybersecurity training and awareness initiatives, reinforcing security best practices and organizational policies.
- Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, legislation, and best practices; recommend enhancements accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure ongoing compliance with established security standards and regulations.
- Manage user access controls and maintain security settings across Active Directory, Windows servers, and LAN/WAN environments.
- Assist in the development and testing of disaster recovery and contingency plans to protect critical data and infrastructure.
- Support the creation and maintenance of network policies, authorization protocols, and security configuration standards.
- Provide installation and ongoing support for servers, VMware environments, Microsoft 365, MS SQL Server, SANs, and related network security tools.
- Maintain accurate documentation of hardware, configurations, network changes, and system updates.
- Respond to support requests, initiate and track work orders, and document actions taken to resolve issues.
- Contribute to a culture of accountability, teamwork, and service excellence by modeling professional standards and communication.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related technical role.
- Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, GIAC.
- Proficiency with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus software, VPNs, and SIEM platforms.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA, NIST, and HITRUST standards, and experience with PowerShell scripting.
- Hands-on experience maintaining and securing Windows servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
- Familiarity with incident response and forensics best practices is preferred.
- Must possess a valid California driver’s license and current auto insurance.
