Network Supervisor

Overall responsibility for management and availability of network resources. Will be responsible for network and security operations, in addition to executing a security/governance strategy to reduce risks and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities and requirements

• Maintaining security policies and procedures, monitoring and maintaining the availability of network resources
• Ensuring proper protection or corrective measures are taken when an incident or vulnerability has been discovered.
• Responding to security incidents and for investigating and reporting security violations and incidents, as appropriate.
• Define cybersecurity operating procedures
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of network equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers and Wi-Fi systems
• Manage cybersecurity governance, risk and compliance along with GRC tools.
• Supervise all investigations into problematic activity and provide on-going communication with senior management
• Oversee the design and execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and security audits.
• Define, implement and report network and security KPIs, KRIs, KGIs and other relevant metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Networking, Information Security or related fields. Equivalent certifications or work experience will also be considered.
• 5+ years’ experience in network or security operations or project roles.
• Experience in a management or leadership role
• Certifications a PLUS (not required): CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CASP+, CySA+, CEH, Security+, SSCP, CCSP, CCNP, CCNA, Network+
