Neuroradiologist REMOTE Locum need

Locum Neuroradiologist. FULLY REMOTE – Workstation Provided

• Shifts are:

o Weekdays 8AM – 4PM, short call 4PM to 10PM, long call 10PM to 8AM;
o Weekends 8AM to 10PM, On-call 10 PM to 8AM

• What type of reads (MRI, CT, MSK, etc) will the MD be doing? MRI and CT only
• What is the case type and volume per day? Very diverse caseload, we are a level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center and pediatric hospital and ER but also have a very busy outpatient practice; Approximately 36% of studies are MRIs and 64% of studies are CTs
• How many reads are expected to be done in an 8 hour day per provider? We expect an average of 50 CT & MRI studies per shift; Weekends (far more ED CTs than MRIs)
• Is it inpatient or outpatient? Both on weekdays, mostly ER and inpatient on weekends; only inpatient and ER on nights
• Is this 100% Neuroradiology (head, neck, spine), or are there general diagnostic reads as well? 100% Neuroradiology
• What is the timeframe/expectation for turn-around time? Stroke codes and trauma interpreted within 45 minutes, ER studies typically within 1 hour; inpatients same day, outpatients same day or next day- but expected in 24 hours
