Are you a seasoned Audit Manager with a focus on non-profit organizations? We are in search of a highly motivated and experienced Non-Profit Audit Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your skills in assurance, GAAP, advisory, and non-profit audits. You will be at the forefront of our financial operations, ensuring that our non-profit organization complies with all financial and legal standards. This is a permanent role that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the accounting industry, specifically with the non-profit clientele.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage our non-profit audit engagements, ensuring they are executed in line with the firm's standards and regulatory requirements.
2. Oversee all aspects of audit, review, and compilation engagements for non-profit clients, including planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up.
3. Provide advisory services to non-profit clients, offering insights to improve operations, strengthen financial controls, and increase efficiencies.
4. Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
5. Develop and maintain productive relationships with clients, proactively identifying and addressing client needs.
6. Provide leadership, training, and supervision to junior staff and interns.
7. Collaborate with team members to set goals and responsibilities, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
8. Participate in the development and execution of the firm's strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the finance industry, with a strong focus on non-profit audits.
2. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA designation is highly preferred.
3. In-depth knowledge of GAAP and assurance services.
4. Proven experience in providing advisory services to non-profit organizations.
5. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor junior staff.
6. Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
8. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical practices.
9. The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
