Job Details

We are hiring (2) full time Nuclear Medicine Technologists who come with an Associates Degree in the Nuclear Medicine Technology Program and is certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) to practice as a CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist)
Typical areas covered will be Bone scans, Thyroid scans, Lung scans, Cardiac stress tests, Blood flow studies and Tumor detection

This full time role offers Work Schedule:
8 AM to 4L30 PM


The Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepares and administers small doses of radioactive drugs (radiopharmaceuticals) to patients, then uses specialized imaging equipment to capture images of the radioactive material within the body, allowing doctors to diagnose and monitor various medical conditions; essentially, they perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive tracers.

Key responsibilities of a nuclear medicine technologist include:

  • Radiopharmaceutical preparation:
Mixing and preparing radioactive drugs according to precise dosages and specifications.
  • Patient administration:
Injecting or orally administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients based on the imaging procedure required.
  • Image acquisition:
Operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment like gamma cameras to capture images of the radioactive tracer distribution within the body.
  • Quality control:
Ensuring proper functioning of equipment and maintaining accurate image quality by performing regular calibrations and quality checks.
  • Patient positioning:
Positioning patients correctly to obtain optimal image quality for specific diagnostic tests.
  • Data analysis:
Reviewing and interpreting images to identify abnormalities and prepare reports for physicians.
  • Patient care:
Providing instructions to patients about the procedure, explaining potential side effects, and monitoring their well-being during the imaging process.
