Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Nurse Manager to join our dynamic team in the Medical industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Perioperative nursing and possess a BLS, Colorado Nurse, Compact license, RN License CO, Nursing Degree, and BSN. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Perioperative department, including pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and maintain high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Manage staffing levels, including hiring, training, and scheduling of nursing staff.
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as necessary.
  • Ensure that equipment and supplies are maintained and available for use.
  • Manage the department budget and ensure that resources are used efficiently.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure that the department meets or exceeds established benchmarks.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications:

  • BLS, Colorado Nurse, Compact license, RN License CO, Nursing Degree, and BSN required.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Perioperative nursing.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to manage staffing levels and resources effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
