Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Peds Exp. a Plus but Not Needed)

Position is an outpatient, general pediatrics role that works closely with a multidisciplinary group providing bread-and-butter outpatient pediatric care. Some telehealth with mostly in person care visits encompassing CHDP and sports physical exams, newborn, teens and sick visits, all part of a manageable and comfortable daily schedule. Focus on trauma informed care and teamwork is emphasized. No inpatient care.

Clinicians working 32 hours per week or more will qualify for the following benefits:

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Permanent NP or PA - Pediatric to join our team in the medical industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and be bilingual in English and Spanish. As a Pediatric NP or PA, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to children and adolescents, conducting annual wellness evaluations, sick visits, and sports physical exams. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct annual wellness evaluations for children and adolescents
• Provide sick visits for acute illnesses and injuries
• Perform sports physical exams for children and adolescents
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
• Educate patients and families on health and wellness topics
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects
• Attend continuing education courses and stay current with latest medical advancements
• Provide excellent customer service and patient care

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
• Current NP or PA license in the state of practice
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatrics
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) and other computer applications
• CPR certification required
• PALS certification preferred
