Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (NO CALL, NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS)
Qualifications:
- Licensed NP or PA in the state of Georgia
- National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
- DEA license (or eligible)
- Experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, or anesthesia preferred
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to train in interventional procedures if not already experienced
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and follow-up assessments for patients with chronic and acute pain
- Collaborate with supervising physicians to develop and implement treatment plans
- Perform or assist in interventional procedures (under supervision as required)
- Prescribe and manage pain medications in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Educate patients on treatment options, medication use, and self-management strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EMR systems
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing quality improvement initiatives
