Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

Our client is a non profit treatment center that works with individuals to sustain lasting recovery from substance abuse disorders and related mental health disorders by providing culturally relevant, evidence based treatment and education in partnership with other community organizations.

They are currently looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team. Full time and part time positions available.

An ideal candidate is a NP or PA who has or is able to obtain DEA licensure with ability to prescribe Suboxone.

The Nurse Practitioner will work under the direction/supervision of the Medical Director, and is responsible for performing medical assessments of patients and prescribing and/or adjusting medications as indicated. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with nursing and medical technician staff to facilitate admission, treatment, and successful discharge of patients with co-occurring substance use disorders.

Requirements:

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure in New Mexico
• Active or ability to obtain DEA
• 1+ year of experience
