Are you a seasoned tax professional with a knack for strategic planning and a passion for navigating complex tax scenarios? Our company is seeking a Permanent NV Remote Senior Tax Manager to join our dynamic team in the Accounting and Finance industry. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of high net worth clients, providing comprehensive tax solutions that optimize their financial success. As a remote position, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere, leveraging technology to collaborate with our team and clients.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Tax Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing and managing the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and non-profit organizations.
2. Providing tax planning services and recommendations to high net worth clients to optimize tax efficiency.
3. Analyzing and interpreting tax regulations, keeping current with tax law changes.
4. Conducting research on complex tax issues to develop effective tax planning strategies.
5. Collaborating with clients and internal teams to gather necessary information for tax compliance and planning.
6. Supervising, mentoring, and developing staff, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
7. Managing client relationships, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Senior Tax Manager position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting or a similar setting.
2. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA, EA, or Master’s degree in Taxation is highly preferred.
3. Extensive experience with tax review, tax planning, and preparation of federal and state tax returns.
4. Proficient knowledge of S Corps, income tax, and high net worth tax issues.
5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply tax regulations to client scenarios.
6. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
7. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex tax concepts to clients and team members.
