We are looking for a qualified OB Technician to work closely with the RN, and assists nursing personnel in the delivery of patient care in the Snuggery Suite, taking into account the patient's special or age-related needs. The OB Technician serves as the scrub technician in Cesarean Sections and selected OB/GYN procedures. This position assumes responsibility for a safe environment and appropriate utilization of resources; directs and performs cleaning, maintenance and processing of instruments and equipment; and restocks and prepares rooms within the Unit. The OB Tech also provides rapid response to patient/family needs and requests.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of surgical technology and procedure. Experience with instrumentation is greatly preferred.

Work Schedule is Monday thru Fridays - 7pm-7am (NIGHTS)

High School Graduate or GED.
Experience in patient care preferred.
Experience in scrub role preferred.
License Practical Nurse/LPN or completion of OR Technician Program required
Knowledge of surgical aseptic technique and basic Operating Room procedures and equipment preferred.
