We are seeking a highly skilled, dedicated, and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in Brooklyn! Specializing in pediatrics, the successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team committed to providing the highest quality care to our patients. This is a unique opportunity to utilize and further develop your skills in occupational therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and pediatrics.

Responsibilities Include:
1. Evaluate patients' abilities and develop personalized treatment plans to improve their skills in daily living and working.
2. Implement occupational therapy programs that focus on sensory, motor, and cognitive components to help patients achieve maximum independence.
3. Provide cognitive behavioral therapy to assist patients in managing mental health challenges.
4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate patient care.
5. Educate caregivers and family members on patient therapy and techniques for at-home care.
6. Document patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and maintain comprehensive patient records.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry techniques and trends to ensure the highest level of care.
8. Participate in professional development activities and continuing education to maintain licensure and stay current with best practices in the field.

Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
2. Current New York State Occupational Therapist license.
3. Proficiency in cognitive behavioral therapy.
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population and multidisciplinary team.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to adapt to various patient needs.
6. Experience with electronic medical records and healthcare software systems.
7. Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and professional ethics.
8. Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate patient needs.
