We are seeking a passionate and experienced Consulting Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position is ideal for a highly motivated individual who is eager to make a significant impact in patients' lives by providing exceptional rehabilitative care. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients' abilities and developing customized treatment plans that improve their ability to perform daily activities, enhance their functional independence, and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to understand their physical, mental, and psychosocial needs.
2. Develop individualized treatment plans that address patients' unique needs and goals, and regularly update these plans based on their progress.
3. Provide therapeutic interventions that enhance patients' skills and abilities, such as motor skills, cognitive functioning, and daily living activities.
4. Educate patients and their families about their conditions and how to manage them effectively.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care.
6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patients' assessments, treatments, and progress.
7. Participate in professional development activities to stay current with the latest research and trends in occupational therapy.
8. Serve as a resource and mentor for other healthcare professionals, sharing your expertise and promoting best practices in occupational therapy.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
2. Current and valid licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
3. Minimum of 1 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a healthcare setting.
4. Excellent knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis and treatment in occupational therapy.
5. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
6. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
8. High level of compassion, patience, and empathy, with a strong commitment to improving patients' quality of life.
9. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in occupational therapy.
10. Proficiency in using computer software and healthcare databases for documentation and reporting.
