Our mission is to provide quality speech, occupational, physical and music therapy that is innovative and practical to individuals with special needs in home, school, clinic and community settings. We currently contract with approximately 35 schools which include public schools, charter and grant schools, and schools under the direction of the Bureau of Indian Affairs.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional capabilities.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and clients' goals.
Implement therapeutic interventions and activities to enhance clients' functional independence.
Collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding adaptive techniques and equipment.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current AZ state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and healthcare professionals.
Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions.
Ability to adapt to various work settings including schools, in-home, clinic, or community environments.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on industry trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with pediatrics in a school-based setting.
Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment.

Anticipated Schedule Each Week:

2-3 days in schools
1-2 days in client homes
1-2 days in clinic
