We are in search of a dynamic office manager capable of fostering collaboration across various levels of personnel to deliver exceptional resources and support to our lawyers, staff, and clients while overseeing daily office operations. The ideal candidate will provide functional and empathetic leadership, ensure operational excellence, cultivate an inclusive and innovative office culture, and adeptly address the multifaceted needs of our team and clients.

Working closely with the Director of Administration, the Office Managing Partners, and firmwide, regional, and local management, the office manager will supervise support staff, manage office operations, oversee human resource activities, coordinate office events, and manage facilities functions such as leasehold improvements, space planning, and internal/external moves.

The office manager should possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and demonstrate the ability to work independently with sound judgment.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
Finance and Accounting: Coordinating daily accounting functions, operational invoicing, budget preparation and monitoring, and ensuring compliance with local billing deadlines.
Firmwide Support: Coordinating office staff and functions to address firmwide needs, including regional resource sharing, new hire training, and local event coordination.
Facilities Management: Overseeing reception, catering, maintenance, office services, and supply management, while effectively communicating with vendors and addressing building operations matters.
Regional Management: Collaborating with regional management to maintain adequate staffing, resolve conflicts, improve morale, and ensure quality work production.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Managing non-legal staff, including hiring, performance evaluations, training, and problem resolution.
Client Relations: Fostering positive client relationships by addressing inquiries and ensuring exceptional service standards.
Miscellaneous: Performing additional job duties as needed to support the office, region, and firm.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years' leadership experience in office management in legal, professional services, or large enterprise settings, including human resources, facilities, and technology.
Bachelor's degree.
Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with others.
Strong discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Capability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and judgment skills.
