Job Details
Responsibilities:
As an Office Manager (Accounting), your key responsibilities will include:
1. Forecasting office and area cash needs, managing petty cash, and ensuring that our financial obligations are met promptly and accurately.
2. Reconciling accounts monthly and preparing accurate financial reports.
3. Handling dealership interactions, with experience in this area being a significant advantage.
4. Creating and maintaining journal entries, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
5. Assisting with external audits and queries, providing necessary financial data and documentation as required.
6. Overseeing office management tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the office and coordinating administrative activities.
7. Managing payroll, ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time.
8. Handling chargebacks, resolving any disputes or discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
9. Utilizing Reynolds and Reynolds systems to manage dealership interactions and transactions.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in office management and accounting, preferably within the Engineering industry.
2. Proven experience in forecasting cash needs, managing petty cash, and reconciling accounts.
3. Dealership experience is a significant advantage, especially familiarity with Reynolds and Reynolds systems.
4. Demonstrable experience in creating and maintaining journal entries.
5. Experience in assisting with external audits, with the ability to provide necessary documentation and data as required.
6. Strong office management skills, with the ability to coordinate administrative activities and ensure the smooth operation of the office.
7. Proven experience in managing payroll, with a strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
8. Experience in handling chargebacks, with the ability to resolve disputes and discrepancies professionally and promptly.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and liaise with external parties as required.
10. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
11. A professional qualification in accounting or a related field would be an advantage.
