Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Oil & Gas Attorney to join our dynamic legal team.

- Conduct comprehensive title examinations to determine ownership and encumbrances on oil and gas properties.
- Prepare title opinions, division order title opinions, and drilling title opinions.
- Provide legal advice to clients on issues related to oil and gas law, including lease negotiations, acquisitions, divestitures, and dispute resolution.
- Review and interpret contracts, leases, and other legal documents related to oil and gas operations.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, including litigation, arbitration, and regulatory hearings.
- Collaborate with other legal team members to develop strategies and solutions for complex legal issues.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in oil and gas law and related regulations, and advise clients accordingly.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Colorado.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on oil and gas law.
- Proven experience in title opinion and title examination, with a strong understanding of oil and gas property rights.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
- Ability to manage a high volume of work and effectively prioritize tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex legal issues.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
