Onsite Senior Network Engineer

Fast growing Manufacturing company based out of Canonsburg, PA/greater Pittsburgh area is seeking a Network Engineer with strong Cisco, routing, networking experience. This is a hybrid position with remote work allowed unless absolutely needed.

Required skills:
Design and implement network of firewalls, load balancers and other network system and services.
Working knowledge of Cisco/Meraki switches, routers, and wireless systems.
Working knowledge of Barracuda firewalls.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnets, routing, firewalls, VPN, DNS (Public Private), Domain Management, HTTPS, FTP, NTP.
Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services.
Document and analyze software and hardware issues.
Design, test, and implement systems solutions.
Research software and hardware products and prepare purchase orders.
Provide support for business-critical systems at the highest level.
Direct troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common system problems; analyze system events to ensure continuous functioning.
Recommend course of action and implement as approved by Director.
Upgrade system software and hardware components as required to meet business needs, verify backups, and ensure upgrades occur in accordance with established parameters.
Utilize help desk to record change and problem activities for tracking purposes.
Working knowledge of Windows 7-10, Windows Server, AD (Active Directory), VMware, and Backup Exec or similar backups.
Experience patching/maintaining systems.
Storage experience – SAN / Synology.
Maintaining both physical and virtual servers.
