We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Operating Room Nurse to join our dynamic team of medical professionals in our state-of-the-art Surgery Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment while ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency are met. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits packages.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
• Prepare and maintain the surgical environment, including sterilizing equipment and ensuring all necessary supplies are on hand.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery, including vital signs, medication administration, and wound care.
• Assist in the administration of anesthesia and other medications as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support throughout the surgical process.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control protocols and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Active BLS certification.
• Current Colorado Nurse Compact license or RN License CO.
• Nursing Degree, preferably BSN.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Operating Room Nurse or OR RN.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and ensuring patient safety at all times.
