Job Details
As a Permanent Civil Construction Manager - PE, your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing all aspects of civil construction projects from planning to implementation.
2. Allocating resources for assigned projects.
3. Supervising onsite personnel and subcontractors.
4. Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
5. Managing, designing, developing, creating and maintaining small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner.
6. Conducting on-site investigations and analyzing data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other).
7. Assessing potential risks, materials and costs.
8. Providing advice and resolving creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies.
9. Overseeing and mentoring staff and liaising with a variety of stakeholders.
10. Handling over the resulting structures and services for use.
11. Monitoring progress and compiling reports in project status.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
2. Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, construction management, commercial construction, grading, geotechnical, site development.
4. Proven working experience in civil construction management.
5. Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
6. Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
7. Competent in conflict and crisis management.
8. Excellent time and project management skills.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
