We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager for our dynamic construction team. This role is perfect for a professional who is passionate about construction, who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, and who is ready to take their career to the next level. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing Residential single family homes, ensuring quality control, and leading high-performing teams. With a focus on framing, the Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of construction projects and overseeing multiple projects in the market and the foreman on each site.
Responsibilities:
As an Operations Manager, you will:
1. Oversee all stages of projects life cycle and manage all project construction and field personnel to achieve project goals.
2. Implement and enforce company's project management policies, procedures, and performance standards.
3. Coordinate with Foremen and supervise all construction activities and ensure project schedule is followed, adjusting schedules as necessary.
4. Direct and coordinate the activities of subcontractors, ensuring they understand and adhere to all safety and quality control standards.
5. Oversee the delivery of materials and equipment to construction sites and ensure proper usage and maintenance.
6. Conduct regular inspections to guarantee construction work complies with safety and quality standards.
7. Manage project budget and ensure all operations are carried out within the allocated budget.
8. Resolve any problems, issues, or delays that may occur during construction.
9. Maintain a professional and positive relationship with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a construction Operations Manager or superintendent role.
2. Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, and building codes.
3. Proven experience in framing and other specialized construction processes.
4. Strong leadership and management skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams.
5. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovative solutions and continuous improvement.
7. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
8. A commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
