Job Summary:

MUST HAVE River Restoration specific experience.

We are looking for an experienced Operations Specialist/Assistant Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects. This role ensures projects stay on track, meet deadlines, and comply with safety and regulatory standards. You will bridge the gap between field teams and leadership to drive efficiency and contribute to project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate daily operations for multiple, simultaneous construction projects across various stages.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying potential challenges and providing actionable, proactive solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Assist with procurement processes, including vendor coordination and tracking materials.
  • Streamline operational processes and drive the implementation of best practices to improve efficiency.
  • Act as a liaison between field teams, superintendents, and leadership, providing seamless communication and operational support.
  • Manage project documentation, including reports, schedules, and updates to workflows.
  • Assist with resource allocation, including labor and equipment, to maximize project efficiency and profitability.
  • Work closely with superintendents and project managers to ensure that projects remain on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in construction operations, project coordination, or related roles. Experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects is a plus.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in construction management, business administration, or a related field is preferred, but relevant hands-on experience will be considered.

Skills:
Strong understanding of construction processes, project management, and regulatory compliance.
Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to shifting project priorities.
