Job Details

What You’ll Do
  • Lead day-to-day operations by coordinating workflow, supporting team members, and ensuring seamless production processes.
  • Oversee employee performance, including attendance, coaching, reviews, and corrective actions when needed.
  • Partner with maintenance teams to minimize downtime by ensuring equipment is properly serviced and operational.
  • Act as a communication bridge between the production floor and management, addressing challenges and driving improvements.
  • Support onboarding and training for new hires, setting them up for long-term success.
  • Lead production meetings to review progress, align priorities, and tackle roadblocks.
  • Work closely with operators and mechanics to troubleshoot machinery and ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Drive employee development by strengthening skills and promoting growth opportunities.
  • Partner with Engineering on R&D and the launch of new production projects, including layout planning and documentation.
  • Ensure all necessary production documentation, technical drawings, and traveler revisions are accurate and up to date.
  • Inspect parts and products to confirm compliance with specifications before final quality review.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by promoting Lean principles, implementing systems for efficiency, and creating standard work instructions.
  • Track and report on production metrics, Lean initiatives, and cost savings progress.

What You Bring
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Clear and confident communicator, able to connect with employees, peers, and leadership alike.
  • Skilled at writing concise reports, giving direction, and presenting process improvements.
  • Solid math and analytical skills to support production metrics and calculations.
  • Problem-solver who can follow complex instructions and translate them into action on the floor.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (required).
  • ERP system experience highly desirable.
