Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Ophthalmic Echographer to join our team in Miami! As an Ophthalmic Echographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests and procedures on patients to evaluate their eye health. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ophthalmic ultrasound examinations using specialized equipment to produce images of the eye's internal structures.
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as A-scan, B-scan, and pachymetry to evaluate eye health and diagnose eye conditions.
  • Interpret test results and communicate findings to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records of test results and patient information.
  • Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and calibrated to ensure accurate test results.
  • Educate patients on the purpose and procedures of ophthalmic ultrasound exams.
  • Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals in the diagnosis and treatment of eye conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of ophthalmic ultrasound equipment and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in recording and interpreting test results.
  • Bachelor's degree in Ophthalmic Technology or related field preferred.
  • Certification as an Ophthalmic Echographer or equivalent preferred.
