Job Details:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Optometrist to join our dynamic medical team. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive eye care services to our diverse patient population. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating visual system diseases and abnormalities, prescribing corrective lenses, and promoting eye health. This position requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience in the optometry field.

Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive eye exams to diagnose vision conditions and eye diseases.
2. Prescribe and fit eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids.
3. Provide pre- and post-operative care to patients undergoing eye surgery.
4. Evaluate patients for the presence of diseases such as diabetes and hypertension, referring patients to other healthcare providers as needed.
5. Promote eye health by counseling patients on proper eye care techniques.
6. Keep detailed patient records regarding diagnoses, treatments, and test results.
7. Coordinate with other medical professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
8. Stay updated on the latest research and innovations in eye care.

Qualifications:
1. Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school.
2. Licensed to practice optometry in the state.
3. Proficiency in the use of modern optometry technology.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
6. Demonstrated commitment to patient care and continuous professional development.
7. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
8. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred.
