We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Oracle Database Developer to join our team. As an Oracle Database Developer, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing database systems based on the company's needs. Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and implement Oracle database systems.
2. Perform database tuning, performance monitoring, and system optimization to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
3. Evaluate database design and theory, database architecture, data modeling, and end-user applications.
4. Collaborate with other developers on code review and process enhancements.
5. Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
6. Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development.
7. Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and documentation.
8. Ensure data integrity and successful backup and restoration ability, improve database designs, and enhance system survivability and data security.
9. Provide support to database administrators and interface with business users to ensure the database is satisfying business requirements.
10. Stay current with the latest technologies and apply new knowledge to the job.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Oracle Database Developer.
3. Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture and underlying hardware.
4. Proven experience with Oracle Database design and development.
5. Experience with data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL.
6. Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding.
7. Previous exposure to healthcare applications is a plus.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
9. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools.
10. Strong analytical and organizational skills.
11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
12. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
